41. Chicken Salad Recipe

So, I'm on my so-called-diet since last week. As far as I remember, I ate rice on the weekend only and I manage to lost 0.7kg in a week. I'm not sure either this is good or not but I'm still alive! LOL. I start eating salads for lunch and sometimes dinner so I thought maybe I should share the recipe. It's just a salad, wth did you need recipe for that? I know I know! but I have nothing to post so I'll just share the recipe, k? :D

According to myfitnesspal application, the total calories for this recipe is 759.5 calories or 859.5 calories with additional of the omelette.

Ingredient
Spices & Sauce:-
-Dried Rosemary
-Dried Basil leaves
-Salt
-Black pepper sauce
-Coarse ground black pepper
-Cayenne Pepper
Dressings:-
-Mayonnaise
-Thousand Island
-Horseradish
-Olive Oil
Main:-
-Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts/Chicken Fillet
-Red Coral Lettuce
-Baby Butterhead Lettuce
-Green Coral Lettuce
-Cherry Tomatoes
Side:
-2 Whole Eggs
-Breadcrumb
-Parmesan Cheese
This is what I got in my kitchen.
Steps
1. Cut the chicken to small pieces and mix all the spices together. Leave it.
2. Break 2 eggs, add the peppers, and cook omelette on a pie with olive oil.
3. Prepare your salads. Mix all salads in a bowl, pour the dressings.
4. Cook the chicken pieces on a pan with a small amount of olive oil.
5. Let your omelette and the chicken to cool down before you put 'em into your salad. (you don't want to kill you vege!)6. After a few minutes, slice your omelette and mix it together with the chicken into the bowl.
7. Add breadcrumb and parmesan cheese for additional taste.
8. SHAKE THE BOWL! (this is optional lol. I don't like it when the dressings aren't spread well)
9. And you're done! READY TO EAT :P
I cooked the small pieces of the chicken on a 'sunny side up' pan.

Yeah. Done cooking. Notice the spelling error there lol.

This is how it looks like before I shake my bowl.

40. First SOTD

Howdy! How's your day peeps? Today is a great day for me. I woke up early than usual today and make a few exercise for the abs. And then I checked my Hatchi named Yoon. Poor her, she's full of energy but she's dying because of hunger. So I feed her a lot of food and take care of her hygiene. Then, make myself ready for today. Well, nothing to be done, just living the day as usual ahhahah.

Anyway, stop the craps and straight to the point, shouldn't I? Ok, so I got SOTD!! You know SOTD? It's abbreviation for Skins Of The Day by the Blogskins. It's the place where the bloggers make, submit, use and/or favourite the skins submitted. And among the other skins submitted last day, mine was picked as the SOTD! How greatful I am right now! It's my first SOTD ever since I submit the other 3 skins. And I've been into HTML/CSS and layout making since 5 years ago and to get this 'award' is like an honour to me.

I never thought the skin, 04. Sea Of Love could make into the SOTD list. I made the layout(which is the skin I'm using right now) without thinking I-should-put-this-put-that-so-people-can-put-this-thing-that-thing. Tbh, I made this skin just for me, that I don't want my blog to get crowded with all other things except body post, about sidebar and tagboard. So I never thought this simple and empty skin could make into the SOTD because most of the SOTD have the pretty navigation effect, the extra boxes for affiliate, archives and etc.
I'm really thankful to those people who post comment and rated the skin. I really appreciate it. You guys inspired me to make more skins. Thank you once more!

39 - Bye and Hello.

Sounds like I'm leaving? No, I'm not leaving but I leaved. Yes, I leaved Semester 1. I mean, Semester 1 had ended successfully. Yahooo! You know what, I had a great times during this first semester. I think I've mentioned this in my previous post. I've experienced ups and downs during the 6 months in the first semester and I learn a lot of things from people around me. Final exam was okay. Let's wait for the results and see what will happen in next semester. Hopefully, fortune will comes to me. Amin~

Tbh, it's been a week since the first semester ended but I just don't have time to update this blog. Ok, LIE. I have time but me don't want to update. Lemme proudly introduce you my friends and my Ganu's family.

Family. We are room mates but everyone has that family character. Sha as Mama, Aida as kakak, Biela as adik and Syihah as adik's bff. Me? I'm just Ecoh lmao

Classmates - BM111/1C. Not everyone here.
Tika and AisyahZ. Friends for life <3

The Aisyahs. From left, AisyahZ, AisyahY and AisyahX
Them. Sha, Aida and Syihah.
And this is Biela.
Classmates. From left, Teha, Sara, Nurul, AisyahZ and Miza.

And this is my baby. hahahha. Dia suka panggil I sayang  or baby xD

AAANNNEEEEWAYYY... during this holiday, I've several project-to-do. Here I list what I want to do :)

1. Diet
I really need to lose some weight. You know, I ate a lot of chickens at Terengganu. Every single day I'll eat at least 2 pieces of chickens. OMG. Do you know how much calories is that? And how many calories I ate just from eating those chickens T__T And when I came back to my home town, everyone saying I gained weight. How awful is that?!

2. Make money
"Money is not everything, but everything needs money." I heard that a lot from Syihah. She said that a lot when topic about 'finding guy for your life' is on lol. But I'm not making money for some guy or what. I just want money to shop. Me want to shop. Bags, shoes, clothes, accessories and everything afforable. I don't even have chances to go shopping at Terengganu so this is the only time for me to go shopping.

3. DIY project.
"Honestly WTF" inspired me a lot. They offered a lot of DIY projects tutorials. Easy step-by-step to follow. I want to try making friendship bracelets, tie-dye cloth, studs and ombre cloth. I've bought the things needed to make the DIY, the only thing left now is to start it.

38 - iPod Touch

Alhamdulillah. Ticked one of the items in my wishlist - iPod Touch. My parents gave me this iPod for my 18th birthday. Thank you Ayah. Thank you Mama <3 The delay of the present was because I wasn't here in my hometown and we're probably waiting for the 5th generation to be release. Yes, I got the 4th generation one. There's not much differences with the latest version of the iPod except that the camera is at 1080p, the size is taller, the colours and of course; the price.

If I were to get the 5th generation, I want the blue colour. Isn't it pretty? So, I just upgraded my iPod to the latest iOS version, iOS6. Not sure what's the difference with the iOS5 but I do know that the colours changed hahaha. And I've installed almost all application that's necessary to me. *dulu godek2 kakak punya je* Next thing I want to do is buying accesories for this new baby c: I've pre-ordered the casing and the plug cap. Can't wait to receive 'em soon.

If anyone want to add me via this network, you are much welcome to do so! Say hi to me ;)

37 - layout seven

NEW LAYOUT!

Howdy! Please welcome the new skin. I don't think there's much to explain since this layout is really simple-pimple-dimple. ahahaha. So...yes, I create it. Starting from a ugly draft, to coding process, to finding-theme process, finding-image process and etc. Emm, you can hover over the sea on the sidebar beside, and see the magic! just kidding. there's no magic, just a simple-yet-complicated-to-code sidebar. I will release this skin on my blogskins account when I have created a new one for this blog.

Anyway, you can always contact me via twitter @NurAisyahYusof :)
Until then...

36 - End of Semester 1

Time sure flies. I still remember when I first walked in to this school-size university, UiTM Chendering Kuala Terengganu. Everything looked so different and unfamiliar. However, things get normal as time passes. I can understand Terengganu's dialect as well as Kelantan's. hahah. I can accept this university as a place for me to continue my studies after the high school level. Even though this university lack of facilities and such, this place makes me happy. I have more friends and more acquaintances than before. Just in case you don't me, I'm Aisyah Y from Class C ^^ Everyone seems so nice to me (well I really hope they are nice!) My classmates, BM111/1C are JJANG! We get along really well. We often hang-out together, with cars and van ahhahaaha. The girls (especially *cough* Sara) are really crazy, the boys too!

So, this week is the last week for the first semester. Next week is study leave/week. Upcoming two weeks, struggling week! Final exam is around the corner y'knaw! I want to get 4.0 flat. Insyaallah. To my course mates, Diploma in Business Studies, BM111/1 - GOOD LUCK IN BEL120, CTU101, MGT162, ACC106 AND MAT112!

35 - 18th Birthday.

6th September 2012 marked my 18th birthday. Yes, I'm 18 now. My birthday this year was celebrated without my family members around since I'm far away from the home sweet home. It feels different without them. Every year, we would celebrate my birthday together, my parents will treat me a dinner at luxury spot with delicious food and my siblings - we all eat like there's no tomorrow and take pictures and make fun and it was really happening. But this year was different :(

The morning of 6th September around 12am to 2am, a lot of my friends sent me text messages wishing me a happy birthday. I was really thankful because they know and remember my birthday. THANK YOU! The morning at 7am, I woke up for CTU101 class. I waited for text messages from my parents and my family. Zero message. I texted my parents "Ma, Ayah...Hari ni hari apa? hehehhehee" While heading to the class, I received a reply from my parents. YAAYY! They remember it's my birthday. As I read the text messages, tears are pooling in my eyes. I miss them.
Ayah : Ingat..Happy birthday...May the coming year be the most prosperous year fr u. Luv u.
Mama : Happy birthday n salam sayang...Mama ingat cuma terlambat nak wish.
My dad asked what gift did I want for this birthday. I was hesitating but I said I want iPod Touch hehehe. He said, when I come back home we can go to the shop and buy it. heeeeeee, thank you Ayah! <3

Then, I walked into the class. My classmates sang me a happy birthday song. I was shocked as I didn't expect them to do that. Thank you so much BM111/1C! I love you guys lah ;) especially Sara aka Aisyah X, because she gave me a bar of chocolate. hehhehehe.

The day didn't end here. There is still a surprise! Later that night, my room mates made a surprise birthday party for me! Ya Allah! It was really a SURPRISE. I NEVER THOUGHT THEY WOULD MAKE IT. The story began like this...

My room mates aka my Terengganu family are Sha (Mama), Aida (Kakak) and Biela (Adik). Around 11pm while I was doing Bussiness Mathematics revision, Biela suddenly wanted to clean the room. She said the carpet nak kena kibas-kibas, banyak habuk. I was.. "Ok. Let's clean the room." And then Sha said..."time-time nilah korang baru nak kemas bilik kan? Bila aku dah balik baru nak mengemas. Nak suro aku jugak." hahahhaha. At that time, I didn't feel any awkwardness or suspicious. Then, Aida told me, my friend, AisyahZ was waiting for me in her room. I went to her room and she told me she was doing Tutorial 8 for Bussiness Math but couldn't get the answer. She asked for my helped. Later, she wanted to print out examination slip and asked for my help. I said "ok. jom lah masuk bilik aku." Theeeeeennnnnn, when I opened the door, I saw Biela on a chair near the door and the room was in dark. I didn't get it that time. Until she poured flour on me. AAAAHHHHH! SERIOUSLY? They sang me happy birthday song with laughter in between. I was really surprised with that. I had never thought they made a plan for me. Bila difikirkan balik, baru terasa the awkwardness bila diorang suddenly nak kemas bilik malam-malam. Sebelum ni takda pon rasanya nak kemas bilik malam-malam. Pandai korang berlakon! Boleh dapat academy award! lol. They bought me a cake. I was really touched with that. Thank you so much guys! I'll cherish this moment forever. We held a small birthday party in the room with bollywood and korean songs. Everyone danced happily especially. T____T Tak taulah macam mana nak berpisah dengan korg nanti :( The first semester is ending soon. Hopefully we'll get same room again next semester.

Anyway, thank you to everyone that sent me happy birthday wish via in person, Facebook, Twitter, and text messages. I really appreciate that. May Allah bless all of you too. Amin~

chapter thirty-four,

Salam. Hello. It's been a long time, isn't it? Well, there's nothing much about my life. I eat, sleep, eat, sleep and eat and sleep and eat again and sleep. hahahahhaa. So there's nothing much to blog. Okay, scratch that! I actually have a lot to say! I do, YES! But 'time' won't allow me plus with slow internet connection. I'll try to update this blog as frequent as I can (let's see) and most probably I'll blog about my life as a university student. Until then...

chapter thirty-two,

childhood games

I used to play video games during my free time until I know the existence of the internet and photoshop. Recently, I get bored with it so I decided to play games and I remember some of my favourites games back then but not the name of the games. I can only remember Recoil.

#1 - Recoil (1999)
RECOIL is a 1999 tank-based Windows computer game. It involves the player driving a stolen experimental tank known as the "BFT" (Battle Force Tank) through various missions. There is heavy influence on the wide array of weapons to be collected throughout the game. - credit to wikipedia

Will it make me a weird girl if I say I love this game? No doubt I really enjoy and love playing this game <3 It's more than a decade since the game released and almost a decade since I start playing it but this game never gets boring. The tense when shooting the enemies and doing the mission feels so great! The best part of the game is when I pick up the weapons and use different type of tank on different places. So, to bring back the old memories, I download the game and play it. I've finished the game for the second time in 3 days :D I went through a lot of troubles installing the game. Not full version, uncomplete missions, files can't be opened or installed and such. At last, I manage to install it by 'touching' the L"ocal Disk(C:)". So far there's no virus threat in my computer and I'm proud with myself because I manage to install this game despite always getting pop-up block saying "file can't be found" ^^

#2 - Speedy Eggbert
The whole game is centered on a central hub, in which the player character Blupi (alias Eggbert) can access all of the game's seven themed worlds. At first he can only go to the practice level, where he will learn most of the controls listed above. The rest of the controls are not shown to during the practice game; they are left for the player to discover these moves while passing through the levels. -credit to wikipedia

Another favourite game, it's a platform type game. The best thing about this game is I can create my own 'game' or 'level' from scratch. They provided some tools and I get to design the level myself. It's really fun designing it but I'm lacking of ideas to design it myself today since it's been years since I play this game. As I mentioned earlier, I don't remember the name of the game so I asked on Y!Answers. It was my first time asking Y!Answers and I got the answer in 5 minutes. I'm thankful to the person that answered my question. Just in case someone want to view my question, it's here. LOL, I explained like shit but someone actually know what I talked about XD

#3 - Ore No Ryomi 2
In Ore No Ryomi 2 the player acts as both the manager and the duty-performer of a restaurant. During business hours, the player needs to perform various tasks in the restaurant, including making dishes, washing dishes, disposals, etc by using keyboard keys.

This game is really fun but sometimes you will get stress when you missed the customers orders. Well, the graphics is a bit..mmmm...low quality I know (lol all my fav games are actually low quality in term of graphics) There's nothing special about this game, but I really like it :) And, I asked Y!Answers to get the name of this game too. I remembered the name of this game has 'yomi' 'ore' in and I googled "oriyomi games", "okiyamiyaki games" but I got nothing. Here is the question that I asked.

#4 - Jumper Redux

This game is difficult but easy to play. I just have to jump and walk to the next level and there's not much movement to make but I still stucked at Level 2-1. I think I tried hundred times to pass that level but still couldn't make it. It's frustrating but I still like this game.

chapter thirty-one,

Today, all '94 students got the result for IPTA. I got Diploma in Business Studies at UiTM Cendering, Kuala Terengganu. But I haven't make my decision either to accept this offer or not. Just today, I received an offer letter from Lim Kok Wing University which I've waited for since April. I had apply for Diploma in Interior Design there and received the offer letter.

That's not the end! My parents and I went to Taylor's University Lakeside Campus last weekend to look around at the university and meet the counselor there. I had applied for Foundation in Design + Degree in Interior Architecture last month in their High Achiever's Scholarship and my application was accepted. I also manage to pass the Visual Aptitude Test (VAT) held on that day without preparation.

I don't know! There are so many choices but I'm not sure if I can make the right decision. My parents advised me last night but I still can't decide. Sucks eh? Only Allah can help me now. Yes, I believe if I ask Allah, Allah will help me. InsyaAllah, later at this night, I'll perform solat sunat istikharah. Ya Allah, please help me with my future. Amin~

chapter thirty,

Girls' day out with sister and cousins yesterday. We went to Subang Avenue for roller skate. We had lots of fun yesterday. So many funny moments and we can stop laughing every time we talk XD

We went to Subang Jaya by KTM Komuter from Shah Alam station. We were lucky because we got to ride the new train. I'm telling you, the new train is so beautiful! Inside and outside are both beautiful. It was like the bullet-train shaped but the speed isn't. However, the systems are far better than the old KMT Komuter. The new train has television, LED information, the seats are nice, and the white colour in and out make it looks so good. I love the new train! ahahha

Arrived at Subang Jaya, we went straight away to nearby KFC for breakfast. Then, we went to our main 'point', to Subang Avenue. It's located besides Carefour. The 'Wheels' is on the 4th floor of the building.

Ticket price for an entry is different than what I knew from the internet last two weeks. Before, it was RM15 for 2 hours per entry and RM25 for the whole day per entry. But as for yesterday, it was RM15 for those with student ID or those who's below 17 with IC, RM20 for members and RM25 for non-member. I had to pay for RM25 and instantly got member card. There's no limit time.

They have two type of shoes. One is inline skate or commonly knows as Rollerblade. Another one is roller skate the one with 4 wheels, 2 front and 2 back. We decided to wear the rollerblade because the man said rollerblade is easier than roller skate. They got variety of sizes too. Maximum size is 10, minimum I'm not sure. But the roller skate is prettier because the shoes has led lights. We skate for three hours. We learn how to skate for the first hour. Then, we skate with each other holding hands, falling here and there, screaming and all. It was the best moment of the day.

At five o'clock, we waited for the train at Subang Jaya station. We waited for 30minutes and the place started to get crowded. When the train arrived, I was shocked because we got the old ugly KTM Komuter. Seriously, no kidding! The train looks so horrible with the scratch and the fade colours. The worst thing is the train was very packed like sardines in a tin. I know it's our fault that we took the train at the peak hours but I think we should have more train so it will be less packed. I don't know, just my opinion.
